Bishop Ronald Hicks graduated from the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL with a B.A. in philosophy in 1989. After graduation, he left for Mexico and volunteered in NPH for one year, where he would meet Father William Wasson, the subject of his book CHANGE THE WORLD. START WITH THE CHILDREN. Upon his return he entered the seminary and was ordained a priest on May 21, 1994 for the Archdiocese of Chicago. He went on to receive his Doctorate in 2003. On September 17, 2018, Father Hicks was consecrated a bishop by Cardinal Blasé J. Cupich.
